SAANTI.
Your voice after dark.
The SA Alliance for Night-Time Industries (SAANTI).
SAANTI is the dedicated, unified voice for all businesses and stakeholders contributing to Adelaide and North Adelaide areas’ dynamic after-dark economy. We represent the diverse industries—from hospitality and entertainment to transport and culture—operating across the state, typically between 6 pm and 6 am.
Our Purpose.
Our core mission is to protect, promote, and empower the night-time economy by tackling key challenges and ensuring its value is recognised by all levels of government.
What We Do: Our 3 Pillars of Action
-
1. Dedicated Engagement & Advocacy
We establish formal, constructive relationships with state government departments (e.g., Planning, CBS) and local councils. This ensures the night-time economy is always considered in major policy decisions and allows us to lobby for greater precinct vibrancy and support.
-
2. Policy Consultation & Reform
We actively participate in consultations on licensing, noise control, and public health regulations. We champion vital reforms—such as flexible trading hours and the reduction of red tape—to make it easier for our members to operate and thrive.
-
3. Promotion of Safety & Economic Growth
Our work is underpinned by evidence-based data. We highlight the sector's significant economic contribution and proactively advocate for best practice in venue safety, patron welfare, and responsible service standards, fostering a secure and flourishing environment for everyone.
